Does anyone know how to take care of a bonsai?

I have this Port Jackson Fig as well as we consider the dying. Can any one discuss it me how to take caring of it? Like with watering as well as object as well as stuff?

Yes having first bonsai .. hard to keep them alive , thats why its better to buy pre bonsai first , anyway the one they sell are not bonsai but young trees in a bonsai pot. It would be very hard to explain whitout knowing what you did , how much light there is ect
