mock sake:

just water with a spray bottle,cut off any dead leaves or branches,and give it plenty of sun

First, please don't follow the answer about spray bottle and give it plenty of sun. Second, we must determine what species of tree you have. 100's of species of trees are made into bonsai, and there are many different procedures for taking care of them. If you'd like me to look at a photo, please send it to
wchoat@american-bonsai.com . If you don't have a way to send a photo, describe the foliage. Once we have determined the species, I'll send you care instructions. To give you more information, you'll want to look at the bonsai care page of my website:
