How to get rid of ants inside the soil of bonsai plant?

Use an ant bait gel like Maxforce Ant Bait Gel or an ant bait granule like Maxforce granule bait. Both of these products work really well and are fast. You need to find out if these ants feed on protein or sweets. Put out a dab of jelly and a dab of peanut butter near them. If they eat the peanut butter they need the granules (protein based), if they eat the jelly they gel (sugar based).

I have heard, but never tried it, that corn meal will kill ants. What I heard is that they eat it, but can’t digest it, so it kills them? Wouldn’t hurt to try, I guess.

ants dont like water…try watering the plant a little more, and frequently, but dont drown it…lol

Ants are usually not that big of a problem, aphids and other insects are a bigger problem. Ants do farm and cultivate aphids and other soft bodied insects which may harm your tree. There is a product called "Ant Bait" at local home improvement stores. Ant Bait is similar to a roach motel and very effective. As for other insects and preventative maintenance you might want to check into "Safer Soap" or systemic insecticide.
