What bonsai tree should I plant?

Posted by Bonsai Care on Feb 17, 2009

I only wish the sort of tree which can be grown as the bonsai, is great for beginners, is great in assuage lighting as good as would tarry Australian climate.

Any ficus ( fig family )specimen would fit the bill, except which it would need some-more than assuage light ,ficus is easy to hoop by amateur bonsai enthusiasts, lends itself good to moulding & styling, the leaves have been glossy & tasteful & those which send down ariel roots supplement to the elderly demeanour of the tree.
I am from India & you operate the banyan (Ficus bengalensis) & the Peepul ( Ficus religiosa ) the lot in bonsai displays,i know Australia has utterly the couple of local ficus varieties .Those which produce tiny figs demeanour really attractive.

Bonsai is a technique that can be used on almost any tree/shrub. Look around for naturally stunted trees growing near you.
