Indoor bonsai tree?

Posted by Bonsai Care on Dec 21, 2008

How can i have a bonsai tree out of a debonair or anoher plant to keep indoors. How do we handle it in to shape, shear it, as well as keep it small

The usually trees we can keep indoors during all times have been tropicals. Trees flourishing outdoor where it gets cold will not tarry indoors for some-more than a couple of days. They need a changes in heat of their healthy environment.

No make a difference how most junipers a large box stores try to sell as indoor bonsai, it only doesn't work.

Some great tropicals to begin with would be Ficus, Serrissa or even Schefflera.

The theme of bonsai is endless as well as we would indicate a little study prior to jumping in. You could try celebration of the mass & post during this forum too…

The only trees you can keep indoors at all times are tropicals. Trees growing outdoors where it gets cold will not survive indoors for more than a few days. They need the changes in temperature of their natural environment.

No matter how many junipers the big box stores try to sell as indoor bonsai, it just doesn't work.

The subject of bonsai is extensive and I would suggest some studying before jumping in. You could try reading & post at this forum too…
