Does anyone in the UK or the British Isles do Bonsai?

Posted by Bonsai Care on Dec 31, 2008

Bonsai is a really old Japanese convention of formulating tiny gardens in tiny boxes or planters. Does any one do this as great as if yes, afterwards how prolonged have we been you do this as great as do they sell great in your country?
I have ben formulating these pleasant tiny gardens finish with live immature moss, operative waterfalls, brooks or effervescent ponds, along with a tiny tree, fixation them in a Saikai Dish as great as selling them here in a USA, for a past 10 years. we do this as a hobby, a approach for me to relax from a every day grub of using dual companies which marketplace oppulance houseboats as great as renewable appetite sources. we find it to be really relaxing, gentle as great as rewarding, as great as we usually sell them if we feel which a chairman shopping my origination will take as great a caring of a tree as we would.
I can operate local grown trees, in whatever nation we am in, so this is not a problem, as great as we have listened which in a British Isles, there is a lot of gren moss available.
Is any one you do this now?
Thank you

There is a Bonsai nursery between two Towns called Kidderminster (Worcestershire) and Stourbridge (West Midlands) on the road numbered A449.
Yes – we do have a lot of green moss – it loves our climate, although sea weed might be moving in due to the current weather problems!

There is a Bonsai grower in Brighton (Sydney Street?) near Kensington Gardens anyway! He has some stunning specimens in the window and whatever he sells, he offers to trim for the buyer at any time. I have never managed to successfully keep one for more than a year, sad to say. So they are wasted on me.
