How do I start my Japanese Maple bonsai?

I have 3 trees flourishing outside from seeds, 2 yrs old, 8-12" high. we cut 1/2 a roots in situ, waited 2 weeks, cut a rest of a roots in situ. My devise is to wait for 2 some-more weeks for them to recover, afterwards puncture them up, pot them, as well as move them indoors. On 2 of a trees, all a leaves have been dying. Have we killed them? Will my devise still work?

I don't assimilate "situ." However, we don't wish to move them indoors……..EVER! They have been outside trees as well as contingency go by a winter months (keep them upon top of 30ºF so they don't freeze).

I don't understand "situ." However, you don't want to bring them indoors……..EVER! They are outdoor trees and must go through the winter months (keep them above 30ºF so they don't freeze).
